SOS on the Slopes
At the end of last week we swopped our golf clubs for Skis and with just a handful of well chosen golf pieces we set about testing the theory that our clothes can be worn anywhere and fulfil any purpose…..well almost!!
On the plane in #Ecco golf street shoes( black patent) – perfect multipurpose shoes with their unique support and grippy sole…wear them for golf, walking, climbing in the snow or just for that smart casual moment. Accompanied by #Daily Sport miracle trousers…smart, stretchy, comfortable and water repellant…perfect when you spill your tea in your cramped plane seat or its raining when you leave the airport! Add a #Golfino Down lined jacket… Definitely perfect on the ski slopes with its fur collar, two way zip and warm lined pockets, couple with an Abacus Rugger polo and you are equipped and comfortable for the first part of your journey.
To the slopes and what better start than layering with #underarmour…..A pair of dry fit leggings and cold gear vest go well underneath the Swing Out Sister Golf’s ‘Lola ‘ Loving the scooped back keeping my bottom warm and the lovely fleece lining, also like the covered top stopping the zip itching my chin…..cosy. Trying our winter SOS knee socks with double thickness underside worked as they slipped nicely into the ski boot. Finally the 100% waterproof warm lined #Abacus putter trouser….tartan and striking were perfect to be seen in testing conditions on the slopes. Oops nearly forgot the all weather warm gloves and fleece lined Beene from #Green Lamb and the #Oakley sunglasses!
Verdict: Who says our range can’t multi task! All pieces were fit for purpose…..fashionable, fun, practical and definitely unique. We have to give it a 10/10 for weather ability! Shame our skiing didn’t quite match up. Can’t blame the instructors though….patient beyond belief!
Back to the golf course this week for more gentle pursuits and the arrival of the Easter Bunny with our newest product ….the ‘Lisa’skort!
